Transition periods can feel overwhelming—whether you're navigating post-graduation uncertainty, career pressures, relationship challenges, or simply trying to figure out who you are as an adult. I'm here to help you explore these questions without judgment and discover the strengths you already possess.
I've always been drawn to helping others, and becoming a therapist has been my goal since I was twelve. There's something powerful about experiencing a space where you can be completely honest about your struggles and work toward meaningful change. My approach is straightforward and collaborative—I'm not here to tell you what to do, but to help you find your own answers.
I believe that everyone has good in them. One of the joys of being a therapist is helping bring that out in people as clients discover new sides to themselves that enrich their lives.
Who I Work With
I work with adolescents and adults (14+) facing various life challenges, with particular focus on:
Anxiety
Depression
OCD and intrusive thoughts
Identity exploration and self-discovery
Life transitions and major decisions
Academic and career-related stress
Relationship and social challenges
My Approach
I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) combined with elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you develop practical tools for managing difficult thoughts and emotions. For younger clients, I place special emphasis on identity exploration—helping you explore the many facets of who you are, what you value, and how to build a life that feels authentic to you.
My style is conversational and genuine. I believe everyone deserves to have someone who will truly listen and offer support without trying to fix everything immediately. Sometimes the most healing thing is simply being heard and understood.
Professional Background
I hold a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) credential and have worked with clients across many different diagnoses and life circumstances. What I've discovered is that regardless of the specific challenge, most people share the same fundamental need: someone to talk to who will offer genuine support and practical help.
My love for reading and writing has taught me the power of narrative—how the stories we tell ourselves shape our experiences, and how we can learn to rewrite those stories in healthier ways.
Personal Perspective
Growing up, I was often the person friends and family turned to for support, which helped me realize my passion for helping others work through life's challenges. I'm drawn to the transformative nature of therapy—how it can help people discover new aspects of themselves and create richer, more fulfilling lives.
Whether you're dealing with anxiety that's holding you back, depression that's making everything feel harder, or just trying to navigate the complexities of modern life, I'm here to help you develop the tools and insights you need to move forward with confidence.
Taking the step to reach out takes courage, and I'm honored to be part of your journey toward growth and healing.
